what are good inexpensive online advertising

i own a online adult toy and lingerie shop. we get good traffic but i would like to boost it up a bit. we tryed adwords and there was a little more traffic but not alot. we do the twitter thing and facebook and myspace. i would love any suggestions anyone has. thank you for your help

    Straight up, I'd def not sink my money into Adwords.. I'd sink it into legitmate SEO efforst and maybe even give a 3rd Tier PPC a shot, like 7search. Use'em all the time and LOVE'EM!

    I would imagine you would encounter a larger percentage of prospects on adult oriented sites, there are certainly ad networks specialized in such sites, you just might not know exactly what strange sites your ads would appear on.

    Plenty of fish has an advertising system similar to Facebook, they have some very unique demographic targeting options that might help you identify a profitable vein.
