I am trying to find a niche with long tail keywords, so I can use the keyword with a domain. But it seams that everything is taken.

Or maybe I am not doing it the right way. I am using google keyword tool to fin a keyword, when I find one that has some monthly searchers/month then this keyword is taken with a domain. Believable.

Are there other ways to find it?

If you find the .com domain is taken then try the same with a hyphen or a .org .
You will find in the domain search they give other examples of the searched domain name

If you need a .com domain and it's already taken try adding a letter on the end like
    mywebsitex.com

You just have to get creative with your domain names. a lot of the commonly known and good ones will be taken, so adding a suffix, a prefix, a hyphen or extra word can help.

I'd avoid prefixes and suffixes as they will reduce your primary keyword ranking possibility.

You'll want low competition so try to scan the top 10 by using some SEO software such as Market Samurai or Traffic Travis.

Google can be your friend in finding niches by using Google Keywords Tool.

I thing you are making a good point here.

And yes I am searching for low competition, but how much is low?

I have market samurai. I just add my keyword there and click competitor function?
How do you do to search for a keywords? Is it first Google tool and then market samurai? When searching for keywords is it Broad or [Exact] that you use?

As low as you can find. As much green color (Market Samurai) as possible and low SEOC score.

You'll need to use exact search to really know the search volume.

I'd try a google search for your keyword first. Find a keyword that has less SEO competition - e.g. if the site is optimised for that keyword, it needs to be in the site name/post name. Try using "[allintitle] keyword" in your google search. If your result is under 10k, then you're onto a winner keyword, and all you need to do is find a .com domain which includes that exact string (may have prefix or suffix or hyphens or whatever, as long as it contains that exact string)

Its really very hard to get micro niche keywords now a days..

One of the best method I have ever known is manually searching best keywords.

    Open 3 Tabs

Amazon.com - Google keyword tool - Godaddy's multiple domain checker

Now, head up to the various sub categories into amazon and copy paste the various available recent products listed into google keyword tool.

GKT gives you a list of highly searched terms. Download that into word file and filter the keywords according to searches and CPC you want.

Copy and paste the filtered list into domain name checker and check which of the keyword have exact .com .net or .org available.

This may take some time but instead of depending on software I always believe in manual work.

Using this method you can easily find around 4-5 keywords per hour. Keywords with high searches, cpc and exact match domain name.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

Try first by changing your domain extension. If it doesn't work then add a letter like "s","x" or 1,2 etc with your in domain and I hope it will help you to find an available domain.

I go about choosing niches by first making sure there are tons of other information products on the subject, this basically proves that it is a niche that consumes and purchases a lot of information.

As far as getting a long tail keyword in the domain, it's really not necessary for seo purposes. You can easily get a keyword in the url by just doing this www.domain.com/anykeywordyoulike

This works well, for the same reason that you want to title your posts with your target keyword, and hopefully have a category for that keyword as well.

So you mean that I don't need to buy new domains? I just use my existing domains with subdomains as keywords?

      That sounds good.
