I need a service that can record a phone interview

Hey Warriors,

Does anyone know a service that will record a phone call interview to create an interview product?

Does anyone also have a computer program that could take the MP3 and convert it into text? I've heard of Dragon Naturally Speaking but I don't know if that is what it does.

Any tips would be super helpful!

I've used AudioAcrobat.com for several years and absolutely love it. There is a feature where you can record an interview by phone and it works magnificently.

As for converting to text, I use a transcription service for that. They are quite easy to find. Or you could hire a fast-typing Warrior to transcribe for you.

There are others, but this is the most professional.

Hi Brad,

Most teleconference bridge line providers have a feature where you can record the interview and then later download it as an MP3.

You should also have a back up. Lots of folks do the back up themselves with recording equipment. When I was doing interviews, I used Gary Knuckle's e-teleconferencing.com service as my back up -- he recorded it for me and sent me a link to the MP3. I believe he'll also clean up the audio, and his wife does transcriptions.

They are great! Plus there is a feature with SKYPE that will record your call and send it directly to your Outlook account.
