Back In This Universe - How To Monetise This Site

If you aren't keeping up and are wondering about the post title - see this thread http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-universe.html

I have a site that gets anything between 250 - 1000 visitors a day. Problem is, it isn't a commercial site. It has adsense on it, which earns me around £150 a year.

It's my antiscam blog and Google lurrrrrrrrvs it. Posts rank within minutes.

I need suggestions on how to monetise the site - I'm at a loss. I add the occasional affiliate link - along the lines of "this is a scam, if you want to see the real abcde click here".

This is the site - keepsafeonthenet.co.uk. I added a flag counter to it a couple of days ago, and you can see it gets visitors from all round the world.

All suggestions gratefully received.

Carol the site seems very well put together. Your ad placement is pretty optimized for the most part. I'd suggest you just keep working on traffic.
As for revenue, trying having the 419eater, and the The Scam Baiter sites advertise on your site. That way while you're earning a decent revenue, you can focus on driving more traffic to your site.

Also, have you tried collecting a list? Maybe you can promote related products to those that sign up to your list for extra monetization. Overall, I see nothing wrong with your site in regards to monetization. If anything, just work on increasing traffic to it to increase Adsense revenue.

I'll be following this! I'm in a sort of similar position. I have adsense on my niche website (it's a free software used from the site itself) and I'm really not happy with the Adsense profits. Relevant clickbank products in banner form haven't had much success either.

*edit: the 10-big network of sites gets around 1000 visits per day, so the same as you basically.

If this were my site, I would change the theme to be honest. I have a theme which places the google ads above the posts and down the sides of them. Gets about 3-4% clickthrough rate.
