Can Some One Explain How Create A Thread With Video And Images???

I am trying to put a new thread with an offer but I am little confused. I am so used to doing eBay listings with images and videos but here, it seems out of my comfort zone.

I tried to put a my header image and video but when I go to preview post all I see is the html code I wrapped in the first place, so I am not sure what to make of it. Can some one direct me in the right place to get this done properly???

    ... Kinda embarassed to admit it, but it took me the better of 5 months to realize to post a "YouTube Video" here, you simple copy the entire URL of the video.

    I kept trying to embed them... which doesn't work.

    I simply used the "advanced" posting tab, enlarged the font, selected the "IMPACT" font, changed the color... and Wah-Lah!
