I hear nichebot is no longer going to be available, and wordtracker is quite expensive. So does everyone just use google keywords?

anyone else? Does anyone here really use wordtracker or keyword discovery anymore? I know nichebot is closing up. So is it fair to say most are using google keywords?

I have used Keywords Analyzer for years.

However, I'm not as impressed with it as I used to be and am looking for a good replacement.

    Keep them coming.

    Kind Regards,

As Mark suggested, I use the Goofle Keyword Tools, especially that they now include the search figures for the keyword as well..

One thing to keep in mind, is that when using the Google keyword tool, make sure you change the match dropdown box to "Exact Match"

Now you will get the exact phrase as searches typed them in, no the standard Google broad search..

      Hope this helps

I use Market Samurai for PPC Keywords...

For SEO Keywords I use common sense--then I refer to Market Samurai to see how much sense I'm really making.

Market Samurai in combination with PPC Web Spy has made life instantly easier.

Market Samurai is a newer software that is not finished yet, but will one day be the best in my eyes. Micro Niche Finder is also a great choice.

If you want a free one, just use Google keyword tool.

I usually use google keywords or the free wordtracker .

But most of the times, I just use my brain. Even Kyle and Carson of wealthy affiliate tell us to use our brain to get different niche keywords.
You wont believe me, but I got ideas for my most profitable sites when I was searching for information on the internet.
I had a problem and I was searching for a solution. Suddenly I got an idea and checked the amount of competition for the keywords that I was using for my searches.
There were very few competing sites and guess what, I still get a lot of sales from that site.

So, all you need to do is learn how to do it and ideas will keep coming to you.

    bye,
    faraz

I second MicroNicheFinder. I just discovered it recently and find it really helps identify keyword combos easily that have low competition and good search counts. And, I've used a ton of these tools.

I usually just go straight to the google tool, or sometimes I will use SEO book. Its all based on preference, many of them work well.

In addition to the posts recommending the Google research tool, the Webmaster Toolkit keyword tool is tops for up to date and accurate keywords. This is awesome for "crunching" short-tail keywords and finding more specific long-tail keywords. Hope this helps!

    hey buddy,

    ppcclassroom2.0 member here,

my advice: Stick with google keywords tool

who better ask about hotdogs then the hotdog maker?
    you get my point?

Who else could tell you better then the big bull itself! I use google keywords tool everyday and I see a 30% increase in ctr then any other keyword tool.

we research this everyday and its proven that the google keyword tool is really really where you need to be.

      Hi Roley,
I do adwords consulting for clients and so I do a heap of this. I usually start with the google keyword tool but i don't stop there or otherwise I'll end up with the same keywords as everybody else. I then move on to use keywordtopia.com as it has search results across multiple different search engines and seems to give me good long tail keywords. I also use spyfu to spy on the competition in that niche that are doing well and see what keywords they are using, what ads they are running, how much they are paying per click etc.

It's better to use more than one keyword research tools to do the keyword research as we will have an opportunity to analyze the keywords in detail.. so it's nice to use other keyword research tools beside Google's keyword tool.
