How to Market to a list like this?

I have a list of people that for the most part like free software.

Specifically, I have a mailing list of over 4,000 people that are interested in Weather Software for Windows.

Any ideas what I could do with these people to make money?

They are difficult ones :confused:

    Weather software huh? Hmmmm. Interesting niche.

    I have done no research on the niche, but you might want to look into offering ancillary products that relate to the niche. Or you could look into weather related books/videos. Just throwing some ideas out.

    Ask the list. I think yesterday there was a post from a guy who posted the exact email content he sends out to find out what his list wants. He said we could use it.

    If you can't find that or don't want to do that, then I would ask you, what problems do these people have related to this niche or what interests do they have related to this?

    You would be surprised by the products and information for sale in some niches.

    Look for books on Amazon. Other weather related devices (if there are any) on Amazon that you could talk about how cool they are with a picture or description that links to your affiliate link for that product.

    You could look for other informational products to sell.

    The main thing is to stay in communication with your list. Send them some valuable information every week at least even if you have nothing to promote or sell.

    You want to keep them engaged.

    I will see what I can do with them, it really is a difficult niche.

    Asking them may be really good, like "If your Interested in making money on the Internet" join my "make new list" or some other topic..
