There are a lot of great definitive threads here, but I havent found the definitive thread on resource box conversions. I was wondering if one of the high powered article marketers like Jeremy Kelsall or Steve Wagenhiem or one of the others could make such a thread. Thread topic: How to transition your article into the resource box and how to format that resource box to get a URL click. Thanks |

Use thread Search or tag search for "resource box", there have been dozens of these. I don't think "The Rich Jerk" has ever said anything about resource boxes... |

Hi Another way to get ideas on how to write a good resource box is to go to EzineArticles or any number of other directories. Look at the articles which have the most views and see how they have worded their articles and resource box. It's well worth spending time doing this and then different variations for your own articles until you see what works for you. Mary |

Wow .. a personal call ..lol Some article directories do not have a resource box and allows you to use the end of the article for your links. This is good practice at how you should do your resource box. Your resource show blend into your article I will give an example End of article: ========================= All of these new technologies were created with the article marketer in mind, so it makes no difference whether you are new or seasoned. These marketing tools are more than enough to kick your current and future article marketing campaigns into overdrive and literally knock the competition right out of the water! ========================= Resource Box: ========================= Start creating quality articles and products all from one website. compose, create, submit, dripfeed your blog, and marketing resources. Become a member of the best marketing site ever seen THEN XXX.COM. ========================= That is the easiest way I can explain it I guess... James |

My resource boxes are really very cookie cutter but they work for me. Your mileage may vary. Essentially my resource box is broken into 3 part. 1. Tired of, sick of, fed up with, etc. <problem> 2. Visit, go to, etc. <site> 3. And <solve problem> For example, for a natural acne cure. Tired of looking at your zits in the mirror just before a big date? Visit my site at <URL> and discover how to cure your acne naturally in just 3 days. If you want to get more involved and bring in the harmful drug stuff you might say... Tired of looking at your zits in the mirror? Fed up with harmful creams that don't work? Visit my site...etc. I use many variations of this but for the most part, it's the same formula. Again, your mileage will vary and I am sure there are other effective ways to design a resource box. This is just what works for me. Hope this helps. |

Here's something I saw on EZA the other day. You may want to try it and test the results: I noticed one guy had one of his links about halfway through the article. His second link was a call to action at the bottom. Basically, he cut his article in half and put the first 250 words in the article body with a link at the end. He put the last 200-300 words in the resource box with a call to action link. Looked like a mini blog post with a linked keyword in the middle of the text. Don't know if it works. But it caught my attention. (and yes, I clicked on the middle link )
