Why sudden increase in traffic?

Check your stats program to see where the traffic is coming from. You may have an article that was featured on a high traffic website such as digg.

I just now checked the stats. All views are coming from one website where I had commented. It is PR3 site, Alexa rank less that 2,000.

So could that be the reason? I hope Google doesn't think I am doing something wrong.

Have you noticed an increase in your adsense revenue?

The traffic is great and all, but it doesn't mean much unless you see your money growing.

Yes, Adsense revenue went up. For the first time I had $35 on a single day.

It seems like the comment you made to that website is where the additional traffic is coming from. Congrats on that.

I suggest that continue making comments on that site and hopefully you'll receive even more traffic or at least sustain the jump in traffic you've recently experienced.
