Like to start an affiliate program for my own product. Do I have to joint any group or just buy a ready made affiliate software? Please chip in.

Go to Clickbank.com and submit your product for approval. They take care of the business end such as paying your affiliates. You will still need to promote your product. The more popular it becomes and the more you offer in the way of commission, the more attractive it will be to affiliates. Good luck!

If it is a digitally delivered product then this is the way to go!

      eBook
      MP3
      Videos
      Software
      Membership Site

If you set-up your own affiliate program through 1shoppingcart you also have to manage it, market it, and make payout every month. Clickbank handles everything for you!

If you have a shopping cart like 1shoppingcart, they have the facility for you to run your own affiliate program.

If it is a product that's handled by clickbank that is the best way to get your feet wet. Don't take on too many new thing at once. It's too easy to get discouraged and quit. Plus, there are other affiliate sites for other kinds of products.

the other alternative of clickbank is paydotcom. It's integrated with your paypal account. you can submit your first own product as an affiliate for free.

I use ejunkie, it starts at $5 a month but will also handle downloads and allows you to create a paypal mass payment to affiliates.

Thanks. I'm new. The easier and cost effective, the better. So, I'm just trying to find out from whoever who've done it and just follow the foot steps.
