Hey, okay I'm getting more serious about squidoo now.

1) Should I have a different lens per keyword?

2) How basic/complex should the lens be? (right now I have the description about what I do, and a link to my website)

-Basically you just want squidoo to backlink to your page right because google likes squidoo, thus raising your google ranking to your main site, right?

Thanks,
Dennis

You can use more than one keyword per lens, if they are related. For example, if you create a lens on high blood pressure, you could use keywords such as ways to lower high blood pressure, reducing hypertension, high blood pressure remedies, etc.

It doesn't have to be that complex. Make sure you have about 4 or 5 modules (these can include linking modules, comments, etc). Then write a few articles linking to your lens, bookmark it on Digg, Stumbleupon and Delicious, and create a Hubpage linking to your lens. This will give it some link juice, and even help the site you are creating your lens for.

    Hope this helps!

You need at least 3 modules for your lens to become Featured on Squidoo (not including Intro or Guestbook).

See WIP Lenses for more on this.

Make sure you also ping the lens rss feed at places like pingler.com every time you add to or create a new lens.

This will create backlinks to your lens and also send you a burst of traffic from the rss directories if your headline is interesting.

    Hope This Helps!!

Subscribe the lens rss feed to rss aggregators, you only have to do this once as whenever you update by adding new content, it updates automatically.

If you need some links PM me and i'll be happy to help.

Ensure you use your keywords in your lens url, lens title, and introduction to your lens...G loves it! Also treat your text modules as you would submissions to EZA, in that i mean keyword in title as near to the front as possible, in the intro paragraph and in your summary paragraph. If you are hyperlinking to your product from your text modules, which i recommend you do, try and ensure that the words you hyperlink are keywords.

Any images you are placing into text modules, say that are stored on your "my Pictures" file under My Documents, change the title of the saved url of the picture to your keyword...it goes just that bit further with G!
