Do eBooks make good WSO's? Or must I offer a 'system'?

I am looking at setting up my first WSO.

I don't offer any kind of make-money-system, but have created a rather informative eBook on a certain aspect of marketing that is often misunderstood.

It's ten pages - very useful (had great feedback) and contains a free bonus at the end that's actually worth more than the eBook would ever sell for!

Do eBooks make good WSO's? Also, any tips on selling one as a WSO (price, etc)?

Thanks!

anything can make a good WSO as long as it is valuable... and I mean valuable in OTHERS opinion, not yours... be it ebook, software, service, whatever.

I just bought an ebook today for 9 bucks that had info worth WAY more than that. It also had many other great reviews and has sold probably 100+ copies.... but it is super high quality and valuable.

    so the answer is yes

The information is where the value lies. I would much rather read a short 10 page report than sit through 20 videos if that's all that is needed. Some people seem to think the more information the more value you are providing - it's not the case. If you can get the information across in a short 10 page ebook then go for it.

One thing I hate is when you purchase an ebook or even a video course and the first video or the first few pages of the ebook are wasted telling us the background of the person who created the product. To be honest, I don't care about their background. All I want is the information I paid for and no fluff.

Yes, ebook is a good starter to launch a WSO if you don't have the resources or money to launch a larger product like a 'system', in fact many successful WSOs are just a an ebook, go think about it
