How do I remove non-buyers from my list?

OK, so I know how to remove from my list people who haven't opened my emails in a long time. I'm using Aweber.

But I just had an epiphany: every month I also get on my list people who open many of my emails because they want to read the free content, but for some reason, they will NEVER buy from me. Maybe they're extremely poor, maybe they have some weird belief about buying stuff online, who knows. Yet they may stay on my list for YEARS, in order to get the free stuff.

If I accumulate a couple of hundred such people every month, very soon I'll have thousands of people on my list that I will never monetize. And I will pay money in order to have them on my list.

Does anybody know how to identify adamant non-buyers and remove them from a list?

Your help is appreciated wholeheartedly.

You can track link clicks even in a text message, and then filter out those who don't click links.

You can also send html messages to see who doesn't open emails. Send a couple of emails to verify that they aren't opening/clicking.

But - how do you know these folks haven't purchased affiliate products from you? You generally don't get notified which sub buys an affiliate product.

Finally - are you sending your list freebies? If so, you probably want to stop doing that! Freebies will train your list to expect more freebies. You can send good content in an email, but even then I would normally follow up with a subtle pitch.

Don't sweat the small stuff :)

Interesting point Ash. I had a previous experience with training people to expect everything for free related to blogging, and I don't want to repeat it.

    Hey Eduard,

It's a better strategy to remove buyers from your list.
When you are promoting a product offer a companion bonus
    for buying through you.

When they claim the bonus remove them from that list
and add them to your buyers list.

I have 1 idea but it will not work if you have a huge list.

Suppose you have 300 people in your list

Create a different secret tracking url for each member in your list .. For example

    1.) Member 1 Secret Tracking URL :-www.yourdomain.com/index.php?trckmember1
    2.) Member 2 Secret Tracking URL :-www.yourdomain.com/index.php?trckmember2
    3.) Member 3 Secret Tracking URL :-www.yourdomain.com/index.php?trckmember3
    4.) Member 4 Secret Tracking URL :-www.yourdomain.com/index.php?trckmember4
    5.) Member 5 Secret Tracking URL :-www.yourdomain.com/index.php?trckmember5

Now on your index page install good traffic analytic tool and find out which referral url converted into sale lets say user coming from www.yourdomain.com/index.php?trckmember4 this link converted into sale ,,,, it means member4 in your list is a good buyer

I hope my this idea will help you
