Hey everyone,

I would love to hear some opinions on the following.

When you would get a theme like flexsqueeze, will it really help making sales?

of course you need good SEO, backlinks etc and good content fo course

but how much would a theme like that really help you?

    Thanks fmnelly,

What I'm really trying to say is will a theme like flexsqueeze really convert much better than some other theme that still looks good but doesn't have all the classic sales bells and whistles..

    ??

The theme you use doesn't matter, as long as your visitors like it. Do split testing with your graphics, see which ones convert better.

Im actually a big fan of the free standard 'twenty eleven' theme. Very clean and clear and this helps the user experience.

If you are completely new, don't worry about the theme. You don't have any traffic anyway. Just get the site up and going, concentrate on your content and building links and when you start getting traffic you can change themes.

I would still advice you to research into themes more- since premium WP themes (e.g for adsense) do really convert nice and therefore are worth paying for. Just google "high CTR WP themes".

I have looked into FlexSqueeze and they look pretty versatile. From the perspective of costs, you can start with some really nice FREE themes, FlexSqueeze is a bit pricy, as you need to A.) buy the theme for like $129 B.) If you want all the goodies... it's another $40 quarterly (*every three months) and C.) If you want to build and sell sites it'll cost you another $300 or so for the Developer's License...

However, if I start doing web development for others, I would think one site would pay for it, and think they have some great potential. I personally like the 'built-in header opt-in options'. <--That ones a mouthful.

I started with a free WP theme, then went to Elegant Themes ($39 year) 60+ premium themes, then bought OptimizePress $97 *killer squeeze pages, and E. Brian Rose has a WSO for 70+ plus themes cheap!

So, I guess it all boils down to; what you want to spend? and ultimately what will bring the best return?

    All the Best,

I have just started this week moving my best performing affiliate sites away from flexsqueeze and started designing some new ones :-)

But its a good starting point...

if you are going to look at getting clients then I would look at studiopress

    Regards
