Hey Evelyn, way to go on all those gigs! Every one of these points are consistent with what I've seen in the top rated, highest selling gigs. If I were to pursue fiverr stuff more, I would probably go with something related to SEO, which I am glad to hear is evergreen.

So they are showing pets eating food messages backwards now? That's pretty funny.

Hmm when you multiply $4 x 400 the result is not 4 bucks

not to mention the 'gig-extra' features you get once you become a top rated seller, plus, the greatest benefit is the experience one gains from handling customers and sales, and if you got skill, remember if someone can have $5 for good stuff they will have $50 for best stuff

I like the uniqueness of the Fiverr concept, its a sweet 'addon' to your income though there are people making a living out of it.

The tips are useful for all fiverr users. I have done a great work with my fiverr gig and i have 115 reviews ALL POSITIVE and i have done some of the tips that u are telling noe like "overdelivering" but my gig is not listed to fiverr featured gigs. Thats the point that i dont understand fiverr ...

I heard that starting your gig is tough when you have zero feedback. Do most people have their friends and family buy a gig and leave great feedback? This seems like a smart way to get your ball rolling.

That seems like the way to go - if you've got previous clients, you could always offer a "special sale" and get them to leave feedback on your gig.

Thanks for the tips Evelyn, one other point if I may, it seems lately that keywords in your user ID will get you rated better in searches.

I mainly use fiverr for buying, there are some cool gigs on there great for marketing, but my wife recently joined offering translating services, she got a gig within 15 mins that as let to her getting a contract worth thousands, so, its not just a fiver, great opportunity to pick up leads and contacts.

Another tip: I noticed lots of people offer bonuses for positive feedback, a good way to improve your rating

There are great tips for getting more gigs. I wish to add that you might develop some regulars that order your gigs over an over. Try to make sure you deliver on time as people get upset if you are late and let them know if you have a problem like your hard drive went bad or you are getting memory errors. Keep your customers in the loop as we say. Also, there are people who develop a following on fiverr and then disappear, but I would like for people to train juniors. Oh yes, if you are leaving on a trip let some one else keep the flame burning for you when you go on vacation for the holidays so your can come back again.

Thankyou for your tips. I am a level 1 seller on fiverr, and I hope to scale up soon. There is an experience that I wanted to share with you.
When I was still an amateur seller in fiverr with just 1 sale in 9 months, a customer contacted me. He was an amateur too, I guess, and he didn't know much. So, I ended up doing much more than the cost of the gig he ordered for. I was really frustrated with him, but I just didn't want to cancel the gig as it was only my second gig. So, I did what he asked for, and guess what... It really was good after all. Now, I have sold 18 gigs in fiverr, and 6 has come from that seller, and he's gonna order one more soon. That is when I understood the ethics of doing business: BUSINESS IS NOT JUST ABOUT EARNING MONEY, BUT ALSO BEING DEPENDABLE FOR YOUR CUSTOMER WHEN HE NEEDS YOU. It is just like the point 4 you shared.
