How to handle New/Age Domain in this exact example?

Hello,

I have two sites in the same niche (blabla.com and blabla.de as domain names).

Domain A is 7 years old PR 4 - totally outdated running with a custom old php script and 0% onpage SEO, backlinks only to index and page 2+ rankings for different products.
Domain B is 5 years old PR 2 - my newer money site with 100% onpage SEO and backlinks to all inner pages and multiple #1 rankings for different products.

I promote the same products on both sites though Domain A has more products atm.

Now, I want to push Domain B more and more and adopt all the other products from Domain A (because I want to get rid of the cutsom script in use with Domain A).

When creating new inner pages on Domain B with products I already show on Domain A - should I 301 these inner pages from Domain A to Domain B?
Is it recommended to duplicate the content from Domain A on Domain B for those 301ed inner pages?

As a final step I thought that I can 301 the index site from Domain A to Domain B so that Domain A is fully integrated into Domain B.

I hope that my text is somehow understandable.

    Hi Almut,

Yes, you could definitely 301 the inner pages, keep the original content from old domain and possibly add and expand to it on the new domain.

Thanks a lot for your hint.

I currently already have partly the same products on the old and the new domain. So, I would stick to the new content because it's formatted better etc.
