I wouldn't necessarily call this "the latest scams" since the post is almost 5 years old. I've seen far more sinister scams to watch for.

Like the PayPall email that contains your first and last name (which PayPal heralds as a way to tell the email comes from them) & asks you to verify the limits on your account by logging into a cleverly disguised url that you have to really look at to see it's not going to PayPal at all.

    But anyway...

That's why I never click on a link from any business wanting me to verify something. I if react at all I go straight to the website to investigate. Good share on this latest PayPal scheme.

Another one has been going around in the online services world that's been talked about in the offline section. Scammers are going to sites to find portfolios and then emailing invoices to the businesses on there from email addresses disguised as the service provider attempting to get fees from them.

Always have to be on your toes!

Those have been around but they still sit on most people's list of top scams that's still raking in victims. The scammers just make mid course corrections and pull in more victims. All these scams have the unique ability to appeal to that Greed mentality in people.
