Grammar and the impact on your wallet

My question is do you find yourself discount information when you pick up salient grammar or spelling mistakes in forums?

My own capacities I consider above average, but I did a recent post with an old expression I picked out of the air and got it wrong. Im not going to edit it...but do you read stuff that interests you here at WF, then quietly disparage content that ticks off the English teacher inside you?

Do grammar mistakes make you completely disregard content you may have been interested in?

I don't completely disregard the information but I really do hate it when people use 'your' (belonging to you ) instead of 'you're' (you are).

Another one is 'there' (as in 'over there') instead of 'their' (belonging to them).

This is very common nowadays but it doesn't necessarily make the quality of the information bad; it is just a mild irritation.

I'm usually a perfectionist when it comes to grammar - unfortunately, I'm not a native speaker (oh well, ZEE GERMANS and their English ) - so what's going to happen that my product will be proof-read and the salesopy is made by a professional copywriter, anyway...

Hi Rob, respectfully, may i ask a non English speaker, why you operate in a business that requires high English articulation.

I have always wondered why the non English speaking push in internet marketing, particularly that it is so writing intensive, why a German would not market to Germans in your own language.

Here I am wishing I could explode my business into Germany, if only I could speak German, yet we find a German that is trying to market to the English speaking world.

Full respect, just trying to understand the logic. Do Germans not respond well to marketing? Id love to understand the dynamic
