Multiple Warrior Accounts

Is there any rules or regulations to running multiple warrior forum accounts?

If so, what if they are paid accounts?

Also, if there are rules for this - please provide a link.

Thanks.

One account per person is the rule.

Only one account is allowed for each person, whether it's free or upgraded account.

Wouldn't surprise me if some people would create multiple accounts to put positive reviews on their own WSO's (often i think that's the case).

It happens. When we find them, the cost is usually much more than the $40 for a WSO posting or bump.

May I ask why you want to do this?

Not being rude, I just can't think of a reason to do this other than for unscrupulous purposes....Unless of course you suspect a member has more than one account or you heard it was ok somewhere??

      No rudeness taken.

I was actually going to explain this (and had it all written out) but just deleted it because I'm sure 100 of the guys on here would have stolen the idea and used it to death.

It is definitely NOT for posting reviews! Reviews are easier than "Thanks" to get on here so no reason to risk your credibility and sales on posting your own reviews.

Anyways - thanks for everyone's responses... I'll definitely... take them to heart.

The 'one account per person' rule has been very clearly confirmed
by Paul Myers (aka Dr Mani aka Martin Avis aka CDarklock aka ExRat aka .... )

I don't get it. Must be a WarriorForum Junky's inside joke?

Yep. In more ways than one, ironically.

Does the one account per person rule apply to SEO companies that are posting on behalf of several different clients under several usernames? (Because you KNOW that happens.)

I recently saw a WSO that just launched (not going to name it) that had a post right after the OP with a very positive review and a note at the top of the post read something along the lines of "Moderator's note: this post is from the same IP address as the OP" so I would say the forum mods are definitely on the lookout for multiple warrior accounts.

    Multiple warrior accounts are prohibited.

About the rules, what Paul said.

To all the people asking if it's OK to have multiple accounts
    see post #2 above.

To all the people asking if there are exceptions to the rules
    see post #2 above.

To all those people who see evidence of multiple accounts
in operation... submit your evidence through the helpdesk.
