How much to ask/should I ask anything?

Hey guys,

I am running a small blog that caters to freelancers. I have very low traffic, about 20 per day, mostly from Google. To put things in context, in about a year, I made about $70 with the blog, from AdSense and affiliation.

Now, I have received an offer from an agency representing a major international apparel brand. They want to put banners on my site (on every page) and of course, they want to know my fee.

The problem is I have no idea how much to ask. In fact, I don't even know if it would be right to even pursue the idea, considering how little traffic I have.

Any opinions?

    In the long term, I don't think that this would really be worth it. You said that your website caters to freelancers, and I doubt that they are also looking for clothes when they visit your site. So you might get a short term gain from charging the company initially; but I doubt that they would stay on long once they figure out that there is no money to be made advertising on an off topic/low traffic site.

    I agree - with 20 visits per day it's just not worth it, and the company isn't going to be happy when they see how many (few) impressions they're getting.

    I agree with you; I replied to the agency and told them about my traffic.
    Apparently, they want to go ahead and ask for a quote. Now, that's a bit baffling to me, but it's their money not mine...
