I'm working with a client who wants to say something like:

The amazon.com of wedding related items

i'd like to test it against

The Groupon of wedding related items

What are my options for testing the publics response on that?

    The best thing you can do is to test it on the target market.
    Forums are a fantastic way to do this. They are full of passionate
    people about that subject.

    Go and find a really busy forum in that market and ask the
    same question.

    You can't get the right answer here because we are all Internet
    marketers.

    Taking that one step further. You could setup a surveymonkey survey on it. Send an email first to friends and family to get their opinion. May not need to spend time on forums if you know enough people who will give you opinions you trust.
