If you had a list of all WSO buyers, how big would your list be?

I know only Allen would have this information but I thought it would be fun to see what people come up with.

What do you think?

    That's a tough question Ron.

Knowing that people don't have to be a WF member to purchase a WSO
I would say that the number is pretty large.

Guessing that 80-85% of members have at one time or another purchased
a WSO and Guessing that 40-60% of unregistered visitors may have purchased
a WSO, I'm going to guess that if you only count repeat buyers once the magic
    number could be 1,234,567.

    Have a Great Day!

I think your math is off. I came up with 1,234,544

Another way to figure it out, is using sample extrapolation and knowing that "WSO Of The Day" sellers often claim they've had 1,500 purchases... some say 2,500 purchases. So you can probably look thru WSO listings then make an educated guess of the sales numbers from the bigger sellers over a small chunk of time, then extrapolate from that sample, to determine the all-time number of purchases.

But all that hurts my brain. But probably the easiest way to go is to forge an email like it's coming from Allen, then send it to Lantz, asking "hey bud so how many wso purchasers do you think we got so far?

I'm not sure how Allen would have this information?

I think the only person who would have the most informed idea would be Mike Lantz.

Judging by the amount of traffic he can send to an offer, anywhere from maybe 4,000 - 8,000, if we assume an average open rate of 10% he would have a list of around 80,000. Take into account those people who are not on his list but still purchase WSO's and I think it would be fair to guess around the 100,000 mark, give or take a little.

    But that's a wild guess.

Although considering Mike's business model relies heavily on the fact Allen allows it, I think you are right in assuming Allen would have very easy access to this kind of information

If I had a list of all WSO buyers I would own the elusive magic bullet, set it and forget it, instant cash, etc. I.E. the thing that would allow me to make thousands a month and really, really, really, do nothing.

Alas, the Magic Bullet doesn't exist.

    Or Does It?

True Story. A very good friend of mine was asked to do some copy for a very large company that owns a massive list.

When negotiating his pay for this little job he asked not to be paid anything except that he be allowed one mailing of his product to the list. The list was entertainment targeted and his product was travel related.

Within days after the mailing he had $30,000 worth of sales for his pay.

He asked to do the deal again and the Company said no way that was a one time deal.

Long story short, (too late) that WSO buyers list mentioned in the OP, if handled with care would be priceless.

EDIT: I see that it was posted while I was typing this "I'm thinking sellers." In that case, same as above, only better.

How big was this list he sent to you think and did your friend collect the emails from the people who clicked in the mailing?

You asked "what do I think", Ron, so here goes...

    Members: 385,648

Assuming non-members are about the same number, the total potential
prospect pool adds up to 770,000

    At around 15% buyers, that's 115,000

Not everyone buys WSOs, and not even everyone who is vocal on the
    WSO discussions is a buyer!

Not all 'usernames' are unique members, either.

    So that's my 'best guesstimate'

    All success
    Dr.Mani

P.S. - A far more exciting metric would be the size of lists of
REPEAT buyers of WSOs... and my guess is that would be 80% or
higher of the overall buyer base!

If not higher. The nature of the WSO buyer is that they buy multiple WSO's. I suspect that percentage might be as high as 95%.

Nah, everyone's got it all wrong. It's actually only about 1,000 people, and they each buy dozens of WSOs every week. And like the Energizer bunny, they just keep on going and going and going........lmao

          Say what?!

          A million WSO buyers?

I think it's pretty well known that the WSO forum is not a massively large group of people buying a small number of items... it's a smaller group of people buying a large number of items.

When I say small, I still think we are talking around the 100,000 mark but I can't see a figure of 1,000,000 being reality. I guess we'll never know.

I would say at everyone that is on the forum plus the guest that browse. I'm sure at one point we all paid for a wso and there are 300,000 plus members on the forum.

I know there is no way of really telling but I'm it is a lot more then we will ever be able to guess or imagine. You would have to consider the people who left the scene as well who might not of opted-out. But that is a good question though.
