ONCE UPON A TIME there was a Warrior named Bob. He was sad. And frustrated. You see, Warrior Bob spent every last nickel on Internet Marketing e-books. But nothing panned out. No traffic. No sales. He was one sad Bob. Then one day Bob found a bottle. He rubbed it and out came a Genie who granted him 3 wishes. For Wish #1 Bob asked for a pet Dragon. Wish Granted. For Wish #2, Bob wanted Warriors' websites seen by 53 million TV viewers, for under $5 per broadcast. The Genie said... (click here)

    1. Find niche (FREE)
    2. Have product created for you about your niche ($200)
    3. Get sales page created ($100)
    4. Get banners made ($100)
    5. Buy ad space for the banners on adbrite ($100-$600)

If all goes right, you WILL see profit.

A couple of quick comments. I'd allocate a percentage of my budget to content creation because 'content is king'. Using PPC is OK, but what happens if you picked the wrong niche or you run out of money. The traffic stops - not good.

I'd use PPC to test my niche/landing page and tweak it to get the best conversion rates. At the same time I'd be having content created so that I can not only add content to my site, but also start a linking campaign (article marketing, social book marketing and Web 2.0 stuff).

Monetize the content with GOOD affiliate offers and Adsense. If you do it well, this alone will generate a profit which you can feed into you PPC campaigns to test other associated sub niches and get more content written.

    Hmmmm - I think I need to find $1000................

      Couple of quick suggestions...

      1. I would keep the killer report free and not charge for it until you are proven and have a larger list.

      2. Not sure how much experience you have but if possible, I would invest some of that money in testing and marketing education. Get a few sites going and learn how to get them ranked in Google, what works and what doesn't. Once you learn those tricks of the trade, you can do A LOT of other things to leverage that knowledge.

          1. Create a product Either create your own product with the knowledge you have, or pay someone on Elance.com to create one and make sure you own the full rights to it.
          2. Promote the product Make a website for it, sell it on other websites, or run advertisements for it.
          3. Let others market it Set up an affiliate program so that other people can sell your product and get a commission for their efforts - the higher the commission the more people you will get promoting your product.

It's hard for me to really tell you what you can do because I don't know your skill set, but this is very basic knowledge that can be applied to anything if you're not familiar with this kind of thing.

          Good Luck

I say just roll the dice and spend your entire bankroll on "bumvertising" in Los Angeles and NY City. With that amount of dough you could cover all of the highway exit ramps on the East and West coasts for an entire week. Your signs (and domain name) would be seen by tens of millions of motorists every hour.

I'd save the $1,000 until you manage to make money with less investment. Use those proceeds to ramp up once you have a small scale operation generating a small revenue.

Spending money starting from scratch is riskier than learning the ropes on the cheap. That said, at a minimum you'd need hosting $5/mo. and an autoresponder $20/mo. After that you can make money with no further investment. Take your first $1,000 in online earnings and use that for ramping up.

Just my two cents. I spent a few bucks on some courses early on and software along the way, but bow I use money that I've generated online first. If I have my eye on something such as outsourcing, software, or a course, I wait until there's sufficient profits in the bank to buy it.

I'm not saying investing $1,000 out of the gates won't necessarily work, but I believe you'll enjoy a bigger return on that money learning with a much small investment first and then pumping money into a system that's working on a small scale.

I think that setting up targeted traffic deals are a better use of your money. Places like WarriorForum and Black Hat World have HUGE amounts of targeted traffic, you don't need much to break into the Internet Marketing niches if you can get in front of the eyes of the visitors here. I am also thinking that dumping your money into PPC is not such a good idea, it is too short term and I do not think that you will be able to double your money very quickly with this method. Conversion with PPC are not necessarily any better than any other method of getting targeted traffic, and if you had to pay $200 for 1 or 2 signups, you may never recoup your loses... If you create a valuable site, it might be worth your while to spending money on long term traffic buy paying for things like Yahoo directory, high profile Press Release deals (PRWeb), etc...
