Need Help Choosing Membership Script/Program

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Warriors,

Ok, I'm integrating a membership program into my business this year, but I'm not sure what program or script to use for it. Obviously, the idea is monthly recurring billing with as little hands-on attention from me as possible. The three I can think of are Rapid Action Profits, aMember and Easy Member Pro (Kim Standerline's, I think).

What are the pros and cons of each and which one would you recommend? Or would you recommend something entirely different?

I like amember pro. the pros are the functions which you can see on their webpage. The only bad thing is that it is expensive.

Hi Michelle,

As already suggested...aMember is best and stable script.
I have many successful clients using aMember for their sites
since years and they are all doing fine.

Well Pro is it is the product which is proven and works!!!
And Con is cost, it is one licence for one domain.

  The best one I've seen by now I believe is LaunchFormulaMarketing.com
  
  It's used for a lot of marketing sites online use this script, and the LFM site actually use the script itself.
  
  The pro is that it is eady to use and works like a charm.
  Cons is that it costs a lot (but is worth it if you can afford it).

Michelle what are you actually planning on doing?

Each script has strengths and weaknesses and it's easier to advise you if we know what you're planning, rather than shotgunning some pro's and con's that may or may not apply to you.

If you're planning on using Wordpress as the platform, check out WP-Wishlist. Awesome software, and just it just got better with a new version and new features. Very powerful and easy to use.

  I use Easymemberpro in my membership site and really I'm not happy.
  As a membership management script it is not bad but there in an issue I don't like.
  It has a built in affiliate program but it just allow for members to become
  affiliates,currently I'm looking to get an external affiliate management script
  to recruit affiliates whitout them have to be members.
  
  Well I'm not an expert this is just my opinion.

No its not. Far from it ;-)

"Best" is subjective based upon your needs and strategies.

If you asked me what was the best... my answer would be based upon the features I think are most important, the needs of the publisher, and the strategies that the solution provides to the publisher.

My finding was that there was no "best" solution on the market to do what I wanted to do so we created our own solution which I feel is the "best" but your best will depend on your needs and the strategies you want to employ.

The aforementioned Easy Membership Pro has been most useful for me. Setting up and installation is a breeze and the WYSIWYG page editor makes setting up my content quick and easy. What really made EasyMemberPro stand out for me is the fact that all my members are automatically affiliates and they can earn a percentage of the membership fee of members they refer, which makes my site promotion activities all the more quicker and efficient in my experience.
