If you have a Wordpress website buy and learn these 2 plugins:

-S2member
-WP Affiliate Platform

This is what I use to create fully functional membership sites with PHP rules, and with WP affiliate I can create affiliate member pages and automatically assign affiliate links, etc.

It is a bit of a learning curve but just dive in there and experiment. Search Google and Youtube for free tutorials on things you would like to achieve with the plugins - basically everything is possible.

I just did this with Optimize Press and Digital Access Pass. These worked together very well. This might be more of a solution than you need, but it worked great.

Try Profits Theme for wordpress.

It has everything necessary for a membership site.

It is a paid theme though...

  I agree about profits theme, it is an awesome membership theme and can be made simple or complex.
  You can drip feed content, create multi level memberships, creates squeeze pages, product launch sequences etc.
  Really good theme for the money.
