Beyond my fiasco with PPCWebSpy, I did discover something else neat today.

Jing | Add visuals to your online conversations

This one's free, and made by the same people behind Camtasia. It's abount a 7MB download but you can easily capture web video and audio with it. Granted the text and images aren't as clear as they are with something like Camtasia, but the filesize of the images is relatively small and in SWF format so you can post videos to YouTube.

Good quick way to make a demo video if you don't want to spring for Camtasia

(And it doesn't bogart the top of your browser links either! Sorry, just a bit ill that I blindly fell for that... guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!)

In addition to Camtasia Studio also is ScreenHunter 5 which is an awesome completely free screen capture software for you to use to easily take screenshots.
ScreenHunter 5 is free for unlimited personal and business use. Hope this helps!
