try cleaning your history and cache. It would also be good to do a scan for adware. Just in case...

          Hi Jasmine,

I have noticed the site is regularly down (here in Australia) sometimes 2-3 times per day, although I can't say if this is everyday since I am not always online. When I am online it regularly happens that I cannot access any [WF] pages for 5-15 mins at least twice a day. Usually I just go and do something else, and when I come back it is fine.

This also appears to have increased over the last two or three weeks.

          Cheers,

          Max.

I too have noticed that the warrior forum has been 'down' a lot recently. Very often returning an error page saying 'Database Error'. I check it each time via the site Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up? and find that it comes back as being down for others too.

    Always works for me.

I would recommend a defrag of your hard drive as well, as displaced files can make your machine run slower, I would also adivse a Registry clean, as a lot of programs leave some files behind.

Also been experiencing intermittent problems with wf, most often Chrome says there are too many redirects on the root url but going to one of the sub-forums always work.

I never face any of this problem, till now. BUT recommend some steps to solve this problem.

    First:
clear your All history and try again.

Second: renew your browser, if the you face too much problems with the current one, my be there is an update problem.

    Third: repair your internet connection.

    All the best!

It happened to me only when I visitted through www.warriorforum.com. Seemed like a redirection problem. But never failed when I visitted through the deep link.

Well, yeah.. sometimes it's a little bit difficult to get in. And the browser did pop up some suggestions that you can try some of which are already mentioned by fellow warriors..

I've experienced the same problem but not recently. I think it might be because we get so many visitors to this site. I've seen the problem before with other forums.

I've seen a direct correlation between massive product launches and Warriorforum/Warrior+ crashing. Too much traffic all at once.

    Hope that helps!

I've had the same problem for a month or so but there is an absolute pattern to the issue which implies it has nothing to do with the number of users.

I clean my cache each time I close my browser and I run CCleaner before reopening my browser each morning. The first attempt to reach warriorforum.com directly in Firefox always results in a redirect error. I then have a bookmark that takes me to an inner page.

Once I've done that for the day, I can get to the main page directly without a redirect error and I have no further issues for the day until the next morning when my cache, cookies, temp files, and history start fresh again.

I've run several malware checks and there's nothing wrong with my system. The issue is repeatable on another laptop, as well.

Annoying, for sure, but doesn't stop me and does not mean the forum is down when I see the redirect message.

Actually, it just happened now.. so I took note of the message:

      503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
      Server is busy
      Please try again later.

Only lasted a few seconds.. refreshed the page and all was good

I do agree with Erica though, and here's the message that I get 90% of the time:

      Attachment 10965

Today it was for about 15mins (that I am aware of) and it happens daily.

Yes, that's the same message I get. It's always a temporary issue though. Slightly frustrating but not life-threatening

As for the other suggestions, believe me when I say that I run a VERY clean machine. Frequent defrags using multiple tools; regular registry cleans & defrags; ALL history, cookies etc cleaned at least once a day - again using multiple tools; regular anti-virus & malware scans (and yes, using multiple tools); minimum of 40% free hard-drive space at all times. Multiple tools are used because what one misses, the others usually catch.

If it was a FF issue I would expect to see the same problem with other sites/forums but I don't.

Like I say, at worst it's just frustrating but its weird that it has only started happening within the past few weeks.

Yes I have had that a few times, but i do a google search and click a link that directs to another part of the forum that's not the home page and it's OK.

Try visiting a thread first before going to the homepage. Must be an issue with the server.

Yup I also had this problem before. Maybe an issue with the server i think.
