Walking Down The Long Road To Success - Thank You, Warriors
Six months ago, I made $0.52, but had spent close to $1000 on tools, subscriptions, ebooks, courses and anything else that might help me learn the magic secret.
Five months ago, I stopped believing in magic, canceled all of my subscriptions, stopped buying tools, courses and ebooks, and focused on one strategy. I launched my first website under that strategy. I didn't make a dime, but I didn't lose any dimes either.
Four, three, two months ago, I decided not to give up. I worked every day that I could, and I learned from everything I did. I slowly watched my monthly earnings trickle in. In those three months, I made $27.
One month ago, I started seeing some small results from my work. I made $120 that month.
Two weeks ago I started seeing a little money every day.
Last week, I had several $20 days.
Yesterday, I had my first $100 day. Even more valuable - I had the knowledge of why that happened.
I'm still sticking with the same strategy that I picked five months ago. I'm still learning from it and refining it every day. My failures have become my most valuable source of knowledge - not ebooks or courses. I now know how to pick out small successes buried within my failures.
If you've been struggling, listen to what the senior members are all saying over and over again. Pick a method, and stick with it until you know it inside and out. Make it YOUR method. Do something every day, even if you can only fit in one small task. As your efforts are compounded, your ability to see what works and what doesn't will be compounded as well.
I'm glad I listened to that advice. It's been a long and bumpy road, sometimes with detours into dead ends to backtrack from, and though the road is getting smoother, I still know I'm no where near the end.
But I am confident that in another 7 months, $100 days will be my slowest days, and I'll be working at it full time. It might take me a year to quit my job instead of a mere couple of months, but that victory will taste all the sweeter.
Thank you, Warriors. You showed me that choosing to walk down any road, even if it's long and bumpy, is better than walking down none at all.
