Page 1 after just one day

Hey,

Lately i've been seeing some WSO's that giveaway software that brought their websites to page 1 in one day. But what they "accidentally" forget to mention is that the keywords they are targeting, are so freaking easy that it doesn't take much SEO knowledge to dominate them.

Is it just one of my "cranky days" or do you guys also hate these WSOs?

If they use super easy keywords, it means that these keywords are viable and do bring traffic. So what's wrong here?

BTW. You DO learn more this way, too

Well, it kind of creates an illusion that their software can bring all keywords to the 1st position. They should, at least, add "Your experience may differ"

You have right. It happens many times that a person want to sell a product by using selling tricks. Artful psychological techniques make us vulnerable and eager to follow suggestions or buy the advertised products.

haha, part and parcel of marketing. it takes a savvy buyer to figure things out. for easy keywords, just throwing 50 pr3 homepage links can rank within 5 hours on the homepage

Over the last four years of trying, I bought and tried various systems and software, all to no avail sadly.

The psychological triggers of marketing are all the same, we all use them to sell even if we don't believe we are, it is our perception of what is good value that actually triggers us to buy, so it really is an emotional need, not a physical one.

This can also be put into anything we buy for comfort, or entertainment, so really we all are drawn like moths to a flame into the products we buy, however, there are some unscrupulous marketers out there, who want nothing more than to take your hard earned cash from you, so remember this saying: Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware.
