So, to answer your questions:

I officially started my business, CardCodeShop.com, yesterday and right now im using all available means to drive traffic to my website. With all of these members saying how they get their money from IM I've been looking for a way to learn. Meaning: I have 0 experience in IM

I already post here quite often, and I wouldnt say that I'm struggling to make my first $$$, to me it's just a matter of time...

I built my website from scratch using Dreamweaver and Photoshop, with Google being my only teacher

I would follow your plan to the letter and gladly provide an honest testimonial with my picture, but I'm gunning to be able to afford luxuries like a camcorder by the time the trial is over, so either/or is fine with me

When do I start?
