What is a Customer? - In case you forgot

  • A customer is the most important person in your business either in person or online.
  • A customer is not dependant on you. You are dependant on him.
  • A customer is not an interuption of your work, he is the purpose of it. You're not doing him a favour by serving him, he is doing you a favour by giving you the opportunity to do so.
  • A customer is not an outsider to your business he is part of it.
  • A customer is not a cold statistic - a name on a database or spreadsheet. He is a human being, with biases, prejudices, feelings and emotions like your own.
  • A customer is not someone to argue with. No one ever won an argument with a customer.
A customer is a person who brings you his wants. It's your job to fill them profitably - to him and yourself.

    I'm glad I'm seeing a lot more people posting about this kind of stuff. People always want all the profits without first giving massive value and actually caring about who they're helping.

    I like to say if you take care of your customers, the profits will take care of themselves.

    Nicely put. Though occasionally customers can be more trouble than they're worth if they require too much hand holding...it's all a balancing act.

    A customer is a valuable asset to any form of business.

    They buy info, products, they promote you(free advertising), and will buy products from sites that you are affiliated with.

    No matter if they are trouble, or nice.

    So the customer is number 1
