Best way to protect my files?

I've recently noticed that anyone can just type "domainname.com/productsfolder" in the address bar, hit enter, and access some files they're not supposed to access (paid products).

Is there an easy way to prevent this?

    1. First of all put the nofollow and noindex tags in the head of the page so the search engines will not index that page and therefore people can not search for it.

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow, all" />

    2. Put up a simple index.html file in that products folder so that if people type in that address they will see the index page NOT all the files inside that folder.

    They are just simple fixes for your current method but I would look at investing in a solution to properly protect your products. A popular one around this neck of the woods is DLGuard.
