Is this a Good Business Plan? Warrior I need your help

Here is my business plan

1) I start an Authority site on every niche (1 by one ofcourse). For Eg. Insurance and open up a domain like Insurancesite.com(Just an example).

2) I write some 2 articles a day on it(Some 400 words a day) targetting the low competition keywords with 500 searches a month by making another xls containing 500+ keywords and outsourcing the articles for those specific keywords

4) After the site gets some amount of traffic I can monetize it with Adsense/CB/Amazon depending on the niche

5) Build another authority site on Health niche(General) and target low competition keywords by making another xls containing 500+ keywords and outsourcing the articles for those specific keywords

6) Rinse and repeat

This way I have multiple authority site and daily articles will be published on them by my VA ofcourse

How is this business plan according to you? Do you think I have any chance for success?

Right plan! Ok, go on. But remember " It is easy to say, but difficult to do". So, don't give up.

Honestly, i believe in making a real authority site and growing it. I've done three publications in the last 10 years on online advertising, and sold two of them. All of them when being sold were making me $30-40k a month in advertising.

      woah! 30k to 40k$ a month?

Hmm...I chose this plan because my niche sites were getting penalized after panda update and I heard such kinda authority sites have the capability to recover from panda updates..Am I right?

Yes, it will works. Time is the main factor for this model and of course consistency of your published content. Others will be the uniqueness and value of your content, inbound and outbound links.

It is not about getting recovered...the advantage with authority sites is that they won't get penalized at all....

Yeah thats will be done for sure...I guess for authority site we dont have to do backlink like mad unlike how we do in Niche sites

So the backlinks will be done basically through Guest Posts...I am planning out 2 Authority site at the moment..

      1) Insurance

      2) Health

So I have my xls ready with around 500 low competition keyword which I will give to my VA to write on ....

Maybe i will publish 1 a day on the blog untill the blog really starts earning. Once it gets traffic I will increase the post frequency

But as mentioned before since you are using a general niche as the starting point it will take time and lots of articles to get a high view. This is because of the competition in the more lucrative niches.
Yeah right...But I am targeting low competition keywords so I guess I can have pretty fast success..Right?

Do you actually know what an "authority" site is? It doesn't mean producing a site stuffed full of 400 word articles, written by someone else, just to get your keywords in the SERPS.

      Well said, Carol. :-)

An "authority" site is just that -- the authority in a particular area. WebMD is the authority site in health, for example: WebMD - Better information. Better health.

To create THE authoritative site in ANY area, takes a lot of time and money.

For IMers these days, it's rarely worth it. There's too much of an investment in time and money.

Someone mentioned "low value" keywords -- remember they're LOW VALUE, which means exactly what you'd think it would mean -- little traffic, and what traffic there is doesn't pay you much.

Re the OP's insurance site: that's exactly what I mean. As one person, with little capital, you have zero chance of developing a real authority site.

Sorry to be so negative about this. I usually try to be positive. Just like Rose however, I get annoyed when people toss the word "authority" around as if you can create such a site easily.

That's a good plan. Especially with Google's recent Panda update, authority niche sites are the way to go. Go for mini-authority sites as well, insurance and health are two very saturated, high competition niches so if you can find an unsaturated sub-niche that is still big enough to have an authority site on, go for it! Just remember micro niche sites are now dead for the most part after the Panda update.
