Warriors,

Couple of questions:

#1 Can I edit Aweber campaigns easily as my list grows? In other words, can I change emails sent as my list grows from 1000 to 5000 but where the first email only goes to my 1001-5000th subscriber?

#2 How often should I send monetized emails?

    Hey there,

1 - Nope can't do that. Once you change your emails or sequence of them, it's for the whole list

    2 - I usually send every 2 - 4 emails, depending on the list/niche

Yes - if I've understood your question correctly (never a certainty ) you can effectively do this simply by putting those subscribers on a different list. Not quite so convenient but I think you'll find a way to make it deliver the result you want.

It depends on many things, especially the traffic demographics, traffic source, how and why the people have opted in and what their expectations are. Maybe from niche to niche, as well. Ultimately, it's something you have to test for your own business, to work out the right answer.

I typically send a promotion in one email in three (sometimes one in two), but it isn't the entire email.

#1) Just create a new list and send subscribers to it...

#2) I send a weekly newsletter (content only) with a training course, video series or pdf document...

I send out promotions once or twice a week, and ONLY products that I use personally, or a business partner uses personally.

This depends if you are talking about automated followup emails or broadcasts.

You can do broadcast emails to your list whenever you want and you can create list segments to exclude from those broadcasts. So you could create a list segment that includes everyone who subscribed to that list before a certain date. You can then exclude those people from the broadcast so only the 1001 - 5000th subscribers get that email.

In regards to automated followups, I believe so long as the subscriber has already received that message, if you just edit the message then they shouldn't receive them again. Each of your subscribers will have a number next to their name that lets you know which is the last email they received in the sequence. For example the number '3' next to a subscriber means the last automated email they received was the third one. If you then went and edited the content of the number 3 email I do NOT think that person will receive the email again. Only those who have yet to receive email #3 will receive it.

I think the trick here is NOT to delete the email sequence and start again. You just want to go in and edit the current emails you have. Obviously if I went into one of my emails and changed a couple of words it doesn't mean it is going to be re-sent out to all those who already received it. That would be silly.

As often as you find something that you think your list will really benefit from. Most email marketers send emails based on how much THEY will benefit from the list. The smart email marketers send emails based on how much their subscribers will benefit from the list.

#1. As Alexa said, all you have to do is create a different list for your first 1000. Depending on how complicated you want to make it, you may want a different list for different time frames since people have joined.

#2. Really is up to you and how often you are emailing them anyway. Damn, I get some from affiliate marketers every day, a bit much.

I find the most effective strategy that has worked on me is sending the subscriber free valuable content for 7 days straight and on the 7th day have a offer to help them solve their problem. The first product you offer should be the low priced product that leads to higher price products the trust grows. Send a money email every 1 out of 3.
