With regards to the above.

Anyone here have any recommendations?

If so?

Why?

What's the product(s) or service(s) been promoted?

What are the 1st tier commission rates?

& what are the 2nd tier commission rates?

Welcome to the forum.

Are you looking for answers on a specific program or are you wanting feedback on the concept of 2-tier programs in general?

  Internet Marketing Center is one of the oldest and still one of the best two tier programs.
  
  They have 10 different products now and say they payout over 60% of their net profit.
  
  For example, for their "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business Online" Course the first tier commission is $65 and the second tier commission is $20.

  I have been using a two tier program selling nutrional supplements, they have several affiliate supplement programs, but only their Freeze Dried **** is a two tier program.
  They will pay you via Paypal or Check, and its worked out really well for me. I am a complete newbie, and I am earning $200-$300 a month (with no paid advertising) I simply use a blog www.monavie-ingredients.blogspot.com which has several links back to the vendor's site - thats it. It's not huge money, but then I am not a pro, and Its all passive income.
  If you have'nt heard of ****, it is the hot new super food. I have been drinking it myself and am very happy with the results. That aside. The program is 30% of all direct sales and 20% of any sub affiliate sales. They have all the banners and text links you need, You can choose to have them send you an email when a sale is made, and you can track sales online.
