I would like to create professional 2 minute video for marketing purposes. How much do you pay to create videos? Please share your ideas and experiences.

I think it is a bit of 'you get what you pay for' - I've bought a warrior classifed for like $27 or so and 'it never happened - no video created' , warrior never responded.

I create me own mostly now - if you pay anything less than $100 for a 2 minute video...don't think the quality will be there for you.

e.g. a professional voiceover for 2 minutes would be at least $60 - and that is finding a great priced voiceover - it can run up to $150.

so add that to the video...then the creation etc. so I'd budget $250 for a real snazzy one!

Client of mine pay $1,000 for a one minute professional video so just to give you an idea - I think one can find a warrior or someone to do it for less than that - but wanted to let you know what the bigger agencies are charging.

I am feverishly at the moment going through some video marketing ebooks and audios with a lot of good (and sneaky) tricks on how to be successful with video marketing and I'm also creating my own with no voiceover at the moment just good music, photos and provocative questions to get viewers involved.

My first attempt was a disaster, the video was way too long, I didn't get the viewer involved (I can't spill everything).

I'm doing things better this time and I really feel good about the potential results.

Make it as easy as possible for them to take action and you'll be set.

Okay, spill the beans on the good and sneak tricks on video marketing braver55b. :-) I have been watching several videos myself on making videos and been able to improve the quality somewhat.

One person you will want to check out when it comes to video marketing is Maria Andros. She totally rocks. I have just started following her on twitter, and she has a lot of videos on YouTube that can give you good ideas. She says it is not about being professional but about being yourself. Maria made over $12,000 in 2 months just making videos and putting them on YouTube so she knows what she is talking about... and she didn't spend any money on advertisement. She also offers classes, which I intend to join when she opens up the next one.

Have had a lot of success with animoto videos. No voice overs. Just stock images, text and catchy music (also provided by animoto as part of your membership). If you sign up for commercial membership you can add a call to action button at the end. People do watch my videos and they covert really well.

Affinity is a factor in whether a video is effective. People
like to do business with people they perceive as being
somebody they could be friends with.

Aspiration too. If you are selling help with making money
you need to have some polish because prospects will
    aspire to be like you.

There are gender-affinity factors and charisma factors
at play as well. You have to work with what you have.

People can be impressed by thoughtful scripting and
editing. I think you can see some of my videos in my
sig line things right now - to see what I do with it.

People watch to be entertained and informed. When
embedding a video on your blog or sales page there
is a very different thing going on, psuchologically,
with the viewer than if he or she is just cruising on
YouTube - so WHO is your video for? in what context?

i think slideshows are not persuasive but that's
just me. I respect somebody who takes the time
to do a good job and shoot themselves in live-action
    without senseless blathering.

Why dont you search for some free trial programs and make the vido for free or get a camera and do it this way?
You wont need to pay anyone and you can search for good videos and try to make your own!
