Are there Companies Dedicated to Selling Your Website for you?

Hey fellow warriors, another question here.

I'm preparing/ready to sell one of my websites that I started over a year ago but I'm new to the whole selling process. (Writing great listing copy, highlighting key points, what sells, etc.) So I was wondering if there are companies that are dedicated to mentoring or listing your site for you to sell it for commissions. I figure if someone can sell my site for me for X amount of dollars over what I would get by underselling my site like a rookie it will be a good investment.

I think I know of really big firms that handle this process for very high end domain sales but just wondering if there are people or services that can do all the flippa part for you.

    I know of those two, I'm talking about someone who will intelligently post your site on one of those for you to sell it. Someone who can actually value your domain correctly and do what's best to sell it on a site like Flippa.

      I know this sounds a bit of a cop out, but you could look on Warriors For Hire or post a wanted classified on the forum. Somebody will offer this service and whoever does is more then likely to be on this forum.

        That's fine matt I understand. I actually have a topic approved and ready to be paid to post in the Warriors for Hire section. I just wanted to see if anyone had done any business in the past with a third party for selling their website as a novice.

    Have you tried google or looking on these forums/others? Otherwise sometimes when I'm going through the flippa listings you can see who is selling it and pick out who is selling their own site vs some company doing it for someone. Otherwise you are on your own, maybe try looking at some listings and brainstorming ideas on what to write.

    Always remember to get what you are earning per month for around 9+ months ideally or if you get high traffic that sells itself too. Good luck!

      Why not post the url here together with some stats (visitors, sales, links, etc), and get some valuation feedback from warriors. Just a thought.

      Thanks for the advice. I haven't actually looked into the sales at flippa to see if there are companies selling for someone. I will do that.

      Also I know everyone says 10 and sometimes even 20 times monthly earnings. But my biggest problem is I was never in the business of making money with my site. I get great traffic, repeat visitors, multiple keywords that rank #1 in google just because i've focused on content, but I've never really tried to optimize it for monetization. So my actual revenue is far lower than what say.. pretty much 95% of the Warriors on this forum would make on it if they optimized it. So I feel like most of the content I have to write is on the potential, which is hard.

      I didn't notice any forum for valuations. I've tried some of the calculators but some have as much as a $9,000 difference.
