Change/add links to many pages, how to do it quickly?

Hi,

I'm trying to build a information based website (with Kompozer, don't know how to use other programs yet), and I have 2 questions:

1. on the headings above, how can I make it so than when the mouse it on a heading, a drop down would appear to allow ppl to click on?

2. since each page will have the same heading, if I want to add a sub-heading or category, and if I already have like 50 article pages (each with the heading thing above), how can I add this new link onto all 50 existing pages? i.e. i want to be able to click on this new sub-heading from any article page the visitor is on. (i hope i made myself clear, not easy to explain this without knowledge of web terminologies...)

      Hi Linda,

I'm not familiar with Kompozer but I suspect it should work in a similar way to the other popular CMS programs.

I think what you're referring to is the 'page navigation' - the navigation buttons which appear at the top of each page.

So head for that section inside your Kompozer account and edit it. It should say something like 'navigation' or 'menu' or something similar. When you add or change a navigation link the change should be reflected automatically through your entire site. If that isn't happening, you may need to hit something like 'publish' or 'apply changes'.
I'm sorry I can't be more specific about the terminology, the concept should be OK though.

    Hey Linda,

Forget learning Kompozer. Your time is 100x more valuable
    learning Wordpress.

It's a lot easier and they rank 100x better. There's tons of free
    videos.

I started with kompozer because that one was really easy to use. So for a complete newbie, do I need to get familiar with html first?

Also, if I need heading, 2 sidebars, then which template should I use? It looks like all good templates are very costly. And the free ones are too blog-like which doesn't fit my purpose.
