Decided to resurrect an old project... (case study)

Just a quick post for now as I'm going to sleep after writing this. - I will update and answer any questions tomorrow
I had an old domain lying around that I was toying with earlier this year, the project basically stemmed from me experimenting with Facebook Ads for the first time.
Basically it started off just seeing how cheap I can get FB Clicks to be (IIRC I got it down to around 3/4p pet click). I aimed to get likes to a Facebook page that I created specifically for the FB Ads project. The Facebook page I created was about camping, not that I'm a fan of camping or anything, it just seemed like a good niche to target as there are so many products to sell and quite a wide audience to test ads on. I decided to link internally to a Facebook page so I can keep posting offers and products as a status to the users... As opposed to taking users away from Facebook to an external site where it's a lot more difficult to get people to buy (only get one shot, not in a buying mood, etc).
Ended up building the group up to around 2k very active users, who regularly post images and wall posts. Since then the page has grown to around 2350 users organically. As the users were so talkative and active I started to engage with them, asking questions like do they want a site to move their 'community' to, what would they want to call the site etc etc.
I took all their opinions into consideration and actually made the site (they chose the name 'under one canvas' via poll) but found I never had time to refine it or make it actually worth using so I pretty much ended up forgetting about it and letting it rot!
Well now I thought I'd try to resurrect the site into at least something small that may earn a few sales. I quickly adapted Wordpress to look kinda like a (****ty) daily deals site for camping products.
--> the worst daily deals site I have ever seen, i know (I'm the first to admit it!).
All I plan on doing is posting Amazon products that seem cheap (look for the biggest % off retail, really).

I don't really care if it makes money or not, I thought it might just be worth seeing it can make a few sales of the festive period
