Press Release Questions

I have a basic question regarding press releases. Do you write a press release for your money site, or can you write one for each article on your site instead and submit those?

      Hi Noah. Press Releases are commonly defined as something "news worthy". Maybe an article isn't exactly news worthy

    Press releases should be held for "news worthy" reports, as Fernando mentioned. If you over use press releases, the organizations you would want to pick them up will begin to ignore you even when you have something worthwhile to report.

    My offline clients are encouraged to attempt at least 1 press release every quarter to local news organizations. More if the situation dictates. While news outlets have a lot of space to fill they do not want to fill it with "salesy, junk" fluff.

    Done right a press release will provide a lot of traffic and go a long way toward providing you with exceptionally well-targeted traffic.

    Use press realeases for something worthy of the press. Also remeber what you think is worthy may not be worthy, get someone to give you an unbiased look and take any feedback and use it.

    Most press release sites won't accept simple articles, as they should be in a special format.

    I agree with David. Press releases are very effective if they're used correctly. Don't abuse them and you will see results. I too use it at least 4 to 5 times a year for my business and most of my clients on-and off-line are using it with great results.

    Yes, you can write as long as you follow the proper format in writing press release. For example in my clients' side, he writes press releases everytime he wants to give a promo in buying his product or launching a new one. That's all, and he did not write one for each article on his post.

      Press release is meant to draw attention and create a buzz while the article are longer with in-depth information. Your press release can reference an article and work together to drive traffic.
