So, how has the supposed recession affected everybody?

Poll to be included. Has recession hurt online businesses? I'd imagine that between that and the Christmas shopping madness it's bound to go down but I'd like to see a larger sample so please vote.

If this recession continues like it is......I'm going to make some real good money this year! My sales have gotten better every week so far since about mid December.

Recessions, hurt brick and mortar in a HUGE WAY. The first to drop are restaurants. Why? People will stop eating out as much and start eating at home. ANYTHING, that is luxury based goes out the window. Online sales from certain sectors do NOT appear to be affected. The #1 Growth Sector right now is. . .Teaching people how to make money online, and getting started into their own business. The recession is just getting started. Within 8-10 months we will be in a bad state. Fear NOT, many smart people make MILLIONS in recessions and DEPRESSIONS. Just remember, Sell The Dream Of Business Ownership That IS FULLY Automated. There are HUGE sectors of the economy crashing and those people need income streams. . .

The "work from home" sector is becoming better than ever as people lose jobs and looking for economic security.

If the media wasn't hyping it so much, I am not sure we would know we are in a recession. I keep hearing it is the worst economy since the great depression but maybe I am just old. I remember around 1980 when unemployment was well over 10%, it is now a little more than 7%. Inflation is very low, compared to nearly 14% in 1980. Interest rates are also low now compared to 1980 when mortgage rates went up to about 18% or so and the Federal Reserve rate went over 20% as I remember it.

We got spoiled by easy times in the past fifteen years. It doesn't take long for us to get spoiled. Of course I am referencing statistics of the USA and I keep forgetting that we have world wide readership on this forum.

I am not making any money on the web at this time so the economy has not effected me in that respect.
