Creative Ways To Use Go0gle ADw0rds

Most people use adwerds to get customers for their business. IE. to buy their product. I was thinking there are tons of other ways to use this advertising strategy to do bigger and better things to really maximize your Return on investment. Maybe we can get a running list going of ideas.

Here is my idea.

Find really cheap keywords that cost pennies, build a content rich landing page, and require that if the user wants to get to the "good stuff" (real value) on the website, they have to become a facebook friend and sign into their account. So for example you have a page that talks about web hosting, and you have a section that provides the user with a discount code on a new domain name, the only thing is if the user wants to access the code, they must become your facebook friend. The bottom line here is your paying pennies to get facebook friends / fans! And of course if you tell google that you only want specific targets to be exposed to your adword, well then you know what they will do for your acquired facebook friends! I hope someone can benefit from this powerful idea, and if you knew this concept already great! I just feel like sharing and I would appreciate if others would share also. dont forget to thank me.

who else has an idea?

Can't claim I came up with this one, but it does work.

Use the testing function (just run mltiple ads) to test product titles, headlines, bullet phrasing, etc.

Point clickers to your (acceptable to GA) landing page of choice.

I got this one years ago from Perry Marshall.

Ever thought about Re-marketing - that is, showing your ad and sales message to individuals who have already viewed it, the idea being that the repeated viewing will result in additional prospects and buyers. Re marketing may be used to:

    • Remind visitors about your free trial offer
    • Highlight benefits that they could have missed the first time
    • Give them a bigger discount offer for those who weren't converted by the original offer
Re-marketing is a chance to try again with a potential buyer that showed interest, but didn't take any action the first time around. It's been proven that repeated exposure to the same ad will produce much better results.

Google re marketing if you don't quite understand. Looks of info on this.

    Jason,
Thanks for this. I think this is a great idea and one that I will adapt and test in my next campaign,
    John.

glad you guys like it, one warrior member misunderstood my post, just so you know here, I was just referring to 1 link on a page, requiring a facebook login, just like if you went to any website that had a section for "members only" google would not frown on a members only section...however if you make it mandatory to access any page with a facebook account google may slap for that, i just want to make sure we are on the same page.

Jason, we were on the same page. I wanted things to be clear so everyone could find room on that page.

let me tell you about a story with Google adwords.

    Testing is manditory.

WHen you think you have the perfect ad, you probably dont.

Everytime I think I have the perfect ad, it is normally the worst converting. So I test everything, and the test that again against everything. Eventually you will quickly work out the ad you think is the best is not good at all...and the ad you think sounds stupid, actually does really well.

Another reason why you have to test and track everything with this.
