BlingCovers, Alex Cercel -- anyone know him?

I was looking for some graphics work done earlier this month and paid the "Reserve My Seat" fee to Alex on his website but never heard anything back from him. After three emails and no replies, I guess I'll just file a dispute on the original transaction.

I'm a little surprised, though. Does anyone here know Alex? Is he sick? Traveling?

Aex, from my experience, is that he doesnt answer emails often - even presale ones.

Well, this wasn't a presell question. It was a pre-payment for him to take my project.

I paid on January 1st. Haven't heard from him at all.

Is this guy still in business? I can't seem to establish any real communication with him. Also, his website appears to have been taken down and replaced with a contact form and a letter saying that he's lost some orders. No sales page...no portfolio...etc.

Is he still in business? Does anyone on here actually know Alex Cercel?

Go to Whois lookup and Domain name search and put in his domain name; it may have his phone number/address/a different e-mail, all of which you could use to try and contact him.

This topic has been discussed about him in the past. I would file that dispute and move on. Hopefully it was not that much money.
