Does anyone know of any GOOD (as in no BS, we own you contracts) dropshippers?

      To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I know that sounds pretty ridiculous, but this is the deal: I'm really looking to conquer an internal struggle I have. If a particular product has no worth or place in my life, I just naturally ignore it. However, my ignorance is clearly working against me, because it's in complete defiance of reality. The truth is that product is worth something to someone...and that's what I need to be watching for.

      It seems to me if I can market & successfully sell a product that I think is just wasting space on this earth, then I could probably sell just about anything...and that would be an incredible & valuable skill to have.

      So, what type of product I'm looking for? One being sold by a legitimate drop-shipper that has no interest in screwing me or any customer I bring them.

      If they aren't in an already saturated market, like web hosting or weight loss, that would be a HUGE bonus.

      Does that make sense?

    Ok here's the deal

    There are 2 different types of drop shippers. There are drop shippers and there are manufacturers/wholesalers who will drop ship
    Two different things.
    The drop ship (house) is a middle man or even a middle middle man. All you need to know is, the more people who "handle" your product (between the manufacturer and you) the less money you are going to make.
    In order to sell products online it has to be unique (and cheap), hard to find (and cheap), and cheap. Did I mention it has to be cheap?

    You get my point.

    There are lots of manufacturers/wholesalers out there that will drop ship for you. This is where you make the most profit and you can be competitive with your pricing.
    Now these people are product specific. Another words, one might sell vases and other glassware and thats it. Whereas drop ship houses "ship" all kinds of products because their business is drop shipping. Their goal is to make money off of YOU.

    Also when you use the manufacturer/wholesaler they will usually work with you on how to handle the package, inserts, addresses, etc

    So, getting back to my original question - what products are you interested in?

    I think you need to look at products first and then find a supplier.

    Like I suggested to one other guy, one option is to contact a local retailer (of products you are interested in) and see if you can buy a little above wholesale from them. Advertise and sell the products and then buy at a discount from your "local" supplier and do the shipping yourself. Do this until you find a supplier to fit your needs.

    You really need to establish what products you want to sell first.

    Gotcha...so, I'll let my wife pick. I'm sure she can find something I'd absolutely hate. She's a natural at it :-)

    Seriously, that was a load of information & I want to say thank you for sharing it. I think I'm going to spend the rest of the night deciphering something that would be a challenge for me & go from there.
