Apartments Rental AFFILIATE Program! - Good Idea?

Guys - what do you think about this;

(For the sake of demonstration, I am going to use *Ireland* as a country here, just because I love Ireland and I don't want to give away the actual keyword I'm targeting)

I've managed to register an exact domain: www_ApartmentsInIreland_org

I'm ranking 25 right now and it's really not hard to hit the #1 spot in my opinion... should be able to do it in a month or so...

Anyway, it gets around 1000 searches/month, but only in the summer months, when it is most popular.

Now this is the great stuff! A local agency offers 6% affiliate comission for any visitor who books an apartment through their website!

So, I've figured, if I can get 10 out of 1000 people who visit my site, to click through to their apartment rental agency and rent out an apartment, with an average price of 100E/day (which is realistic), and a 7-day vacation period (also realistic), I should get 6% of 7000E, which is 420E.

Now that's decent for a 1% conversion rate, isn't it?

What do you guys think - anyone had experience with this kind of affiliate programs, is this worth chasing after?

I don't mind that I'm only going to get 2-3 months of actual profit... heck, that'd make my summer much more fun
