What to do when your server crashes during a launch

Morning,

Well, my server decided to totally crash and burn during my Black Friday product launch.

It's still down as we speak.

So what to do instead?

Whenever I'm dead in the water, I try to see how else I can build up my business. It's kinda sorta difficult given that anything including my site will *not* come up!

Here's what I did:

1.) Follow Friday Twitter. I use Social Oomph to automatically tweet, and have a 37 or so FF tweets stored. I'm building a site for a client, and decided to spend time creating him an automated account as well.

2.) Cyber Monday product! Sure, today is Black Friday, but there's also Cyber Monday coming up too. So if me server lurches back into this time/space continuum, I can launch a second time-sensitive product. Thinking on that now.

3.) Facebook Fanpage auto-updating script. Awhile back, I taught myself how to have an auto feed of dozens of RSS thingees post automatically to me FB fan page. So I re-awakened that...and got that running for my customer as well.

What do *you* do when things look bleak? Sometimes turning on a dime really can have a great benefit.
