I was scanning to buy myself banner ad and found myself a really great site with gud u.s and u.k visitors..as i am not good with selecting a product or offer that might convert please help me.

Most of the traffic comes from u.s and u.k
Majority men between 18-24..
Header ad

Please tell me what ad(cpa, clickbank or anything) i should place that will convert very well on this website?

nobody will know... because merely stating their age range and gender will not determine what their buying patterns are. savvy?

but if it's comedy, forget clickbank and all that bulls**t. head straight for the kill and give them something comical in nature. simpsons dvds. or friends. or blackadder. family guy. crap along these lines.

So far as I think if theme of website is comedy then surely it means entertainment. 18-24 age group people visit that website. So some better option would be promoting,

    - Dating for boys and gals
    - How to get attractive guys and hot girls date you.
    - Latest movie and music buzz or similar entertainment treat.
    - Gadgets and technology.

Test with different offers and check which converts well

I've no experience with comedy sites, so this is just an idea, but what about gag gifts like the kind you see at Spencers? Or things to play pranks with like at PrankPlace.com People in smaller towns aren't likely to have access to those kinds of stores and might buy online.

(And before anyone wonders about my sense of humor, I searched google for "gag gift store" because I forgot Spencer's name and that prank site came up, too. )

    Put yourself in their shoes.

    But even more important....TEST!

You're gonna probably lose money initially, unless you're super lucky....so just expect that.

Remember, invest money and track results. Then constantly improve. That's all there is to it.

      "Majority" of 55% or 95%?

I think "dating" is probably right, on the basis of that information, Ayush.

You might want to put up something that can attract them to a squeeze page on which you offer them a free e-book "Confidential: 4 Super-Secrets of Finding & Attracting Models That No Other Source Will Tell You (It's Easier Than You Think)!" ... that sort of thing. And opt them in and build a list. And then worry about which CPA/info-products to promote to them.

I take the stats you get from quantcast and ad planner then try to match a cpa offer to the demographics of the site. For that age range I would try dating first.

I'd go with DVDs or CDs of comedy tv shows and standup. I'd also recommend physical products like funny t-shirts, books, and gag gifts as well. Someone mentioned Spencer Gifts and I'd say that's a great fit so maybe find an affiliate product or site that has those types of gifts.

"TAKE ACTION" is the first thing everyone tells you and then they leave it at that. I'll add a second part: TRACK EVERYTHING" - It's the only way to ensure your ACTION leads to results.

I was wondering about this kind of alternative, also, given the "comedy website" ... but I'm not sure how well it would work for a mixture of US and UK traffic - this may be the problem.

(It would be good, if possible, to segregate the list built into US and UK components).

for me this is a no brainer, promote comedy dvd's. As Alexa said you would have to be a little careful as you have uk and us visitors so comedy values will be different.

maybe you could start a list, then promote a uk comedy show like celebrity juice or peterkay live etc. then promote an offer for something like 2 and a half men.

from those results you maybe able to create uk comedy and us comedy lists to promote offers to, which should maximise your income potential
