What do you do when everything goes wrong?

This is about real life experiences where problems falls one by one and it stressing you out to death. Not something that you haven't had experience about.

What is your solution to those problems?
Tell me your short story or real life experience.
  • Do you panic and hope something or someone will help you out?
  • Do you analyze the problem and fix it?
  • Do you pay someone to find a solution to that problem?
  • Just kill it and neglect the problem?

I came up with this topic because the other week I cracked the top of my radiator and eventually overheated the whole engine. I've tried to do some quick fix before this happened but at the end of the day I had to fork out $500 just to fix everything because of me being cheap and neglecting the problem.

    In my opinion Internet Marketing is about targeting one maybe two at the most areas that you will become a expert in. Google PPC, Article Marketing, Article syndication, Facebook PPC, PPV, CPA, SEO, Copywriting, etc.

    Yes you have to have a niche but you are either a copywriter expert or an expert in some form of traffic generation. Lead generation is necessary. There are only two main areas of internet marketing: Traffic Generation + Copywriting - List you build and relationship you form to be able to sell products to.

    When a problem arises I
    • Analyze the problem and fix it which can also mean getting someone else involved to help me solve it.
    What I have learned from my time in Internet marketing is consult a expert when you need help. It can be from a course, a mentor, a fellow warrior, but just find a way to solve the problem so you don't sit on it.

    I had the problem for the longest time getting leads. I sat on the problem and tried to go about marketing without getting leads. Boy was that stupid. I was reminded of how important building a list is by getting regular information from trusted marketers about the core of how they became successful.

    I went looking for a solution so I could have a converting squeeze page with a offer that would entice people. When I dug into the root of the problem it was that I did not know what to create as my offer. I faced the problem head on after running for so long. I face my problems head on now because it never helps just sitting on a problem. When I can not solve it myself I consult a more knowledgeable marketer to help me with a solution.

    When I'm functioning well, one of the following or a combination works for me:

    Think about it all the time. That was basically my approach to starting my business. I still had to make a lot of course adjustments after I got started, but I avoided some of the pitfalls because I thought about and planned things before I got started.

    Do an Internet search. Often the answers can be found on forums like this one.

    Get a book on the subject.

    Find a mentor.

    Sleep on it. Sometimes my dreams will give me the answer or a clue towards an answer. I try to keep something to record my thoughts with me most of the time. Sometimes it is a pen and 3 by 5 cards; other times it is a digital voice recorder.
