Hello

Few months back I posted a service in WSO section but unfortunately I did not got any good response ... I don't know why may be i was asking for higher price or may be users didn't liked concept of my service

anyways now again i collected some courage to provide another service but before i make it live i need to know suggestions from you guys

About my service:-
what i am going to offer is to manage users wordpress blog on monthly basis that means if users need to install any theme, plugins , update content or need any modification to be done in wordpress then i will do for them on monthly basis

now my question is what more addons i can add in this service and how much should i charge users monthly?

    Hi Punjabi,

The first question you should ask yourself is if there is any demand for this type of service.

Aside from the Warriors here... are there other people who will be willing to pay for this? Does a market for this actually exist?

Do a search online for similar services. If you find any, then use their price points as a guide.

If you don't find any, then it may mean that there's no real demand for this type of service.

On a side note, you might just want to offer a general "website maintenance service" and offer "blog maintenance" as a sub service.

I know SEO services have monthly maintenance fees -- so you can just borrow the same concept.

    Hope this helps.

      Hi Punjabi,

I'm an Internet Marketer since 2006 and I like your initiative to offer your technical service on WordPress since a lot of serious Internet Marketers use that platform.

What I can suggest first is for you to also offer your expertise in other area or passion (a niche). A lot of Internet marketers have WordPress blogs and websites that focus on one niche or multiple niches.

If your passions and expertise are for example WordPress and Aviation lets say, you could offer not only your WordPress technical expertise to enhance the sites but also offer to participate in giving good content and advices to the blogs and sites that are related to WordPress and Aviation (your expertise or passion). So you are not only helping in the background with your technical skills but you are also one of the experts in the blog/site that responds to questions and give good advices or content in different websites within your area of expertise (passion).

A lot of Internet Marketers are looking to outsource their entire blogs/websites by hiring individuals that are knowledgeable within a certain niche and more so if the individual have also skills in the technical and administration aspect of the blog/site like WordPress skills.

When the Internet Marketer has found the right person to not only enhanced or administer his niche blog/website but has also someone who is going to take care of most of the replies and content of his blog/website, he now has a niche blog/website in autopilot and he can spend more time on scaling his niche outside of his blog/website or developing his IM business in another niches.

For your question regarding the rate of your service, I would suggest to look at a site like freelancer.com or elance.com and browse those sites to find similar offers. You will have a good idea of the rate most people offer. Look for offers that only experienced and reliable freelancer are posting. You will know their reliability and experience by looking at their work history within the freelancer site.

      Hope this help.

Your copywriting seems to be the issue. I read the wording of your service and I would personally like that done for me but your wording doesn't list any benefits. What are the benefits of having those services?

Once someone has their WP site up and running with the theme they like and all the best plugins, other than uploading content, how much actual maintenance can there be? I have static sites rather than blogs but I'm thinking that if I had to email someone my content every day / week, wouldn't it be just as easy for me to post it myself.

I know there are services on Fiverr where they will set up your entire WP site with theme and plugins for $5. So, I can't see this service being very profitable.

Now, if you went offline and offered this service to businesses without any online experience, then you could charge a decent amount for the set up and ongoing maintenance of the site. But here on the WF, I'm not so sure.

    Just my opinion though.

I know a good deal about traffic, but not about SEO. I did want to share some insight that I am humbly "stealing" from AdsenseNicheXpert on my thread:

First, visit Warrior Products and Services and go to Warriors for Hire. This is where you can have fellow, seasoned Warriors try out your service and review it. Some may review it for free and for a minimal cost, they will also write a review about your service.

The Warriors are very helpful and you will probably get a greater response to your thread in that forum.

    Peace.

Thanks for mentioned my name here :p

To OP... I would like to ask you what kind of theme and plugins do you offer? Maybe you can include premium theme and premium plugins...

Nowadays to setup a wp blog not tough because there's alot reference out there either in video or pdf...

So with the premium theme and premium plugins ( paid version ) you can take advantage here because some people cannot afford to buy those things.. Probably from $37 to thoundsand of dollars...

Hope that will help you.. Thanks..

P/s : May be you can give consultant how to keep our blog from hackers... I my self don't know how to avoid this thing
