What should I include in my email signature?

Is there a particular format that works best when choosing email signatures. I was thinking of including my phone number, Facebook fan page, twitter, and my blog and a link to a free ebook.

Does it really matter how much information I include or should I limit what I place?

    Most email clients let you create a number of signatures. You might have one for correspondence with friends, another for clients, and yet another for prospects.

    Your standard sig should include a way to contact you quickly -- your cell phone number, for example. Whatever else you include is up to you.

    I couldn't remember what mine contains, so I checked:

    * Full name with email address
    * Twitter
    * Cell phone number

    That's great David, I'm glad I could help. Although I have no idea how lol. But I would love to hear about it

    Include your Most Wanted Response. If you sell local services for example, you'll want to have your phone number and website in your sig. If you sell ebooks or send out a monthly newsletter, put the opt-in URL in your sig.

    If you're heavy into FB, put that there as well.

    I do believe, however, that you can have too much. I would limit yourself to 3 lines of text. After that it gets to be a problem of too much choice leading to not making any choice.
